NEW DELHI, India – February 19, 2015

ForeScout Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of continuous monitoring and mitigation solutions for Global 2000 enterprises and government organizations, today announced that Frost & Sullivan has recognized ForeScout’s increased enterprise Network Access Control (NAC) market share and leadership in the NAC market. ForeScout was distinguished as offering the most versatile platform, possessing the largest deployments in terms of endpoints protected and being competitively rated the highest to meet market demand.

According to the Frost & Sullivan Global Analysis of the Network Access Control (NAC) Market report published in December 2014, the NAC market is estimated to grow over 38 percent compared to the previous year.

NAC market in India

In India, ForeScout’s products are distributed by RAH Infotech, a leading IT distributor of networking and network security solutions. It offers ForeScout’s entire product line to its partners and resellers, helping customers unleash the potential of their network through real-time security and automated control. RAH supplied ForeScout NACs for four deals worth Rs 2 crore each from large BFSI customers this financial year.

In the country, there is a growing demand for NAC solutions from ForeScout. Enterprises which have over 1,000 users require NAC to manage security across devices from single console,” comments Mr Ashok Kumar, MD and CEO, RAH Infotech. He adds, “One of the reasons for the growth in demand is the increasing size of NAC deployments which comes from inclusion of greater numbers of devices on the networks in SMEs and large enterprise networks – including the growing phenomenon of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD).”

Next-Gen NAC

According to Frost & Sullivan, drivers for next-gen NAC growth will include complete endpoint visibility, integration with other security platforms, contextual awareness leading to more operational intelligence etc. Frost & Sullivan in its Network Access Control report has recognized ForeScout Technologies for its versatile platform that exceeds market demands and improves the efficacy of other security tools through its ControlFabric™ integration architecture.

ForeScout and our partners continue to realize tremendous sales growth in the large commercial enterprise, government and mid-tier market segments. We believe that our platform offers superior usability, deployment, management and ROI achievement, which are top priorities for our customers,” says Mr Brant Kennedy, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales at ForeScout Technologies.
