Allied Telesis Reports 32% Year On Year Growth, Adds Over 50 New Clients

In excess of 100,000 pure IP security and surveillance ports deployed

BENGALURU, India – June 10, 2015 – Allied Telesis, a universally recognized innovator of smart technologies for an information-driven world, today announced year on year revenue growth of 32% for the 2015 financial year. Over the past 12 months the company has added more than 50 new clients, predominantly large enterprise and government organizations. A focus on specific vertical markets, including education, government, healthcare and critical infrastructure, has resulted in many of the wins in these markets.

Mr Subhasish Gupta, Country Manager, India and SAARC said, “With advances in technology and collaboration with other ecosystem partners, we are seeing strong growth in our networking and security business. At Allied Telesis, we are continuously innovating and adding intelligence to our portfolio. We have been focusing on specific markets, and specific applications such as IP-based surveillance and network security. Over the next 12 months we will be continuing this focus, and implementing a structured approach with a view to building the local expertise to meet the increasing demands of our customers.

The increasing focus on security and public safety, and the move toward ‘Smart Cities’, are changing the way infrastructure is deployed, and the ways in which information can be accessed and managed. As a lead partner of the Smart Cities Council, and with a substantial install base of over 100,000 ports in security and smart city deployments in India, Allied Telesis is well positioned to assist government and other organizations to make the transition to smarter infrastructure and smarter cities.

While governments are focused on building smarter cities, many other organizations are concerned about the safety of their patrons. Over the last 12 months, Allied Telesis has secured many large projects, ranging from public sector undertakings and airports, to universities and other educational institutions. Allied Telesis has the ability to not only deliver products and technology that meet their customers’ performance and reliability requirements, but also to deliver ‘smarter networks’ through innovative technologies such as Allied Telesis Management Framework (AMF), which reduces the cost and complexity of deployment and network management. These dual abilities have been critical to the success the organization is seeing now.

Over the next 12 months, Allied Telesis will continue to focus on these vertical markets, and they will also increasingly focus on transport and critical infrastructure projects. Transport and logistics systems are critical for moving people and goods around, and are an essential service in any city. The accessibility of these systems and the ability to respond rapidly in the event of an incident, are crucial to their effective operation. Integrated safety solutions such as Envigilant from Allied Telesis are the ideal way to overcome the challenges experienced by transport network operators.

The next 12 months are shaping up to be an exciting time for Allied Telesis, our channel and our customers as we continue to lead the way in security and smarter cities“, Gupta says.
