Maruti Suzuki and DLF Associate with Indian Robot Olympiad 2015

India will play host to World Robot Olympiad 2016 in which over 55 counties will participate

NEW DELHI, India – September 23, 2015 – Indian Robot Olympiad, the largest Robotics competition in India for students, today announced its association with Maruti Suzuki and DLF. IRO is the Indian chapter of World Robot Olympiad that provides a unique platform for students to showcase their talent and creativity and represent India at the international level.

IRO is one of the largest Robotics competitions in India for students between the age group of 9 to 21. It is a not-for-profit competition organized by India STEM Foundation, an organization focused on bringing Science and Technology based learning solutions for students with the intervention of Robotics. IRO’s regional level competition took place in Mumbai, Surat, Hyderabad, Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai. National level competition will take place in Delhi on 26th and 27th of September 2015. This is 10th year of IRO and nearly 700 participants are competing this year. India will play host to World Robot Olympiad 2016 in which over 55 counties will participate.
